FIELD: building, particularly individual and public swimming pool structures provided with overflow water filtering system.

SUBSTANCE: swimming pool has sealed many-sided body and overflow channel arranged along body perimeter and used for water purification. Front wall of overflow channel is below rear wall thereof and has end flange inclined downwards in swimming pool basin direction. Overflow channel caps are provided with partitions located inside the caps. The partitions have wedge-like parts extending downwards and having the first sides facing overflow channel. End plates of the partitions are in plane of end flange of front wall. Another partition surfaces face water pool basin interior and are adapted for water passing into overflow channel. Inner edge of floating overflow mat arranged along end flange of front wall is connected to above end flange. Overflow mat cooperates with end plates of partitions facing overflow channel. Front wall of overflow channel is defined by front walls of trays for filtering material receiving. The trays are arranged along overflow channel bottom and connected one to another to form continuous collar. Front walls of the trays are provided with end flanges inclined towards water pool basin in downward direction. Connected to the flange is inner edge of flexible overflow mat located along flange perimeter and cooperating with inclined grid surface facing overflow channel. Inclined grid is located in plane of end flange of the front wall. Drainage system located along tray bottoms is formed of transversal drainage channels terminating in discharge orifices. The orifices pass into water pool basin and are closed with front walls of the trays from basin side, wherein the front walls extend beyond tray bottom level. Filtering material, namely quartz sand is disposed above drainage system. Overflow channel is closed with decorative removable closures arranged from top thereof and facing water pool basin and used to direct waves into overflow channel.

EFFECT: prevention of stagnation zone formation in overflow channel, possibility to use in swimming pool structures with inner waterproof coating made of special film and in differently shaped swimming pools.
