FIELD: electrical engineering; aluminum base anodes for aluminum-air and aluminum-silver-oxide chemical current supplies.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes production of ingot by smelting alloy incorporating aluminum and at least one alloying element of groups 2 - 5 in Periodic System of Elements having definite structure of solid solution grains and eutectic settlements; it also includes annealing, as well as hot and cold rolling. Material obtained in the process has structure of grains of aluminum base solid solution and alloying element based eutectic settlements, of which 80 - 90 volume percent are of oblong shape and 10 - 20 volume percent, of spherical shape. Such anode material is characterized in low polarizability at load currents and uniform dissolution throughout entire electrode space.
EFFECT: enhanced performance characteristics of chemical current supply.
