FIELD: radio engineering; antennas for overland mobile communication networks.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna that can be used for installation in roof of overland vehicles, such as motor cars, incorporates provision for organizing omnidirectional directivity pattern in horizontal plane at vertical polarization of radiation and has tuned rectangular loop whose linear dimensions are small compared with wavelength; inductive and capacitor reactance components connected to loop conductors and made in the form of at least one pair of series-connected inductance coil and parallel-connected capacitor; mentioned pair is disposed on loop end connected to feeder. Equation for calculating ratings of reactance components is given in description of invention.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of direct matching of antenna and feeder.
