FIELD: organic chemistry, utilization of waste from resin industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polyester production by polycondensation of multifunctional natural-origin organic compounds with adipic or sebacic acid. More particularly, claimed method includes polycondensation between suberic acids (SA), adipic acid (AA) or sebacic acid (SebA) and diamine, selected from p-phenylenediamine (p-FD), o-phenylenediamine (o-FD), and hexamethylenediamine (HMDA) in mass ratio of SA(AA or SebA):(p-FD, o-FD, or HMDA) = 10:(2-4):(3.1-6.2). Process is carried out at temperature of 150-220°C for 2.5 h. Polymer of present invention is useful as binder in production of particle or groundwood boards.
EFFECT: simplified technology for polyester production; polymer with lower melt temperature without strength losses of polymer-based compositions.
