FIELD: textile industry, in particular, manufacture of textile diagonal interweaving fabrics on weaving machines furnished with heald machines.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing relief strips of different width on fabric surface; changing direction of relief strips over fabric length by changing sign of horizontal shift of overlaps to opposite sign after obtaining of predetermined number of weft threads.
EFFECT: wider range of fabrics by creating novel diagonal interweavings with relief strips changing their direction over the length of fabric.
