FIELD: engineering industry; a gripping device for a section of a wire rope.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of engineering industry and is intended for use in all branches, where there is a need to use a section of a wire rope in the capacity of a locking member for prevention of an unauthorized access with provision of control over the integrity of the guardedobjects and may be used for sealing of transportation vehicles, carriages, containers, garages, warehouses, etc. The gripping device contains a body and a wire rope made with a capability of passing through the eye rings of the guarded objects. The first end of a wire rope section is rigidly fixed in the body, and the second end of a wire rope section forming a loop passing through the eye rings of the guarded objects may be rigidly fixed in the locking device located in the body. The new thing is the fact, that there is a sensor of abruption of the wire rope representing a low frequency electrical transformer with a toroidal-shaped core located in the indicated body and embracing the wire rope. The primary winding of the indicated transformer is coiled on the toroidal core and connected with the device generating a test signal, and in the capacity of the secondary winding they use the wire rope passing inside the toroidal core. The technical result is the increased reliability of the remote control over of the integrity of the section of the wire rope making it possible to take the necessary measures on suppression of unauthorized access to the guarded objects with the purposes to ensure safety of the cargo, and also simplification and price reduction of the design.
EFFECT: the invention ensures an increased reliability of the remote control over of the integrity of the wire rope section, a possibility of taking the necessary measures to suppress an unauthorized access to the guarded object, simplification and price reduction of the design.
