FIELD: mechanical engineering; valves and fittings.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for closing passage hole of pipeline. Proposed valve has housing with through hole. Cover with seal is secured in upper part of housing by means of threaded joint. Spindle is fitted on thread in cylindrical hole of cover for axial displacement. Shutoff member is made in form of spool. Said spool is secured on end of spindle and it overlaps through hole in housing. Two sealing rings are provided First sealing ring is installed in slot of spool over projection. Projection is made over through hole of housing. Second sealing ring is fitted in ring groove between spindle and cover. Projection is made with bevel at angle of 20°-30° towards through hole of housing. Section of groove for second sealing ring is made form of slot with tapering to side opposite to action of pressure.

EFFECT: simplified of valve, improved sealing.
