FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed circuit breaker has movable and fixed contacts, disconnecting magnetic circuit with coil and armature, contact pressure spring, holding magnetic circuit with coil and armature, disconnecting spring, and control systems for coils of disconnecting and holding magnetic circuits. Disconnecting magnetic circuit armature is rigidly coupled with movable contact. Contact pressure spring is installed for actuating movable contact relative to holding magnetic circuit armature. Disconnecting spring is mounted for acting upon holding magnetic circuit armature.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability and speed of contact separation independent of power circuit current; enhanced stability of contact pressure.
