FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic mechanism is equipped at least with a pair of contacts, magnetic circuit with control coil, anchor, insulating rod, contact spring and disconnection spring. In addition, mechanism contains the stop rigidly fixed on insulating rod, and two clamps. Clamps are installed with possibility of rotation about axes. On one end of each clamp there fixed is the appropriate contact, and stop with the force generated with contact spring acts on the other end.
EFFECT: shortening the time during cutting-off short circuit currents with electromagnetic mechanism.
