FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to electric engineering, specifically to protective switching devices, and is intended for protection of electrical installations against reverse currents. Automatic high-speed circuit-breaker contains movable contact; fixed contact; driving tie-rod; contact pressure spring connected with driving tie-rod via limiters and bar link; trip-free release electric solenoid with magnetic conductor, armature and trip-free release retainer; switching-off spring; end support; main electric solenoid including magnetic conductor, constant magnet, main armature, magnetising coil, lever connecting switching-off spring with the main armature and bar link; arrangement for limiting magnet flux in magnetic conductor of the main electric solenoid. Axis of movable contact rotation passes through the centre of gravity of movable contact, and driving tie-rod is connected by its one end with movable contact and by its other end is fixed in end support allowing tie-rod to perform straight movement.

EFFECT: increase in operation speed when switch is cut off and decrease in dimensions.
