FIELD: separating solid materials.

SUBSTANCE: hydraulic separator comprises cylindrical housing with the lid and conical bottom, supplying sleeve, branch pipes for supplying suspension and discharging classified product, and drain. The hydraulic separator is also provided with mixing device and branch pipes for supplying washing fluid to the conical bottom. The mixing device is made of a vertical shaft arranged along the axis of the hydraulic separator whose bottom section is secured to the blades of the mixing device arranged in several rows with a spaced relation to the surface of the conical bottom. The supplying sleeve is made of a trancated cone whose greater base is directed upward to decrease the area of the cross-section of the top part of the hydraulic separator. The disk with the blades underlies the supplying sleeve and is mounted on the shaft common to that of the mixing device.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the separator.
