FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel devices of internal combustion engines. Proposed fuel-feed system contains high-pressure fuel pump and nozzle hydraulically coupled with pump. Used as high-pressure pump is pump built around piezoelectrohydraulic pressure booster containing housing with inner space filled with fuel which is hydraulically connected with drain through normally open air bleed device in its upper port. It valve spring-loaded from side of sealing cone is provided with inner channels with built-in small diameter restrictor hydraulically connecting bore in device housing located higher than valve seat with inner space of pump housing. Inner space of pump housing, in its turn, is connected hydraulically through check valve with medium-pressure fuel-feed pump to fill the space with fuel at intervals between deliveries, and it is connected with nozzle to provide delivery of fuel into internal combustion engine cylinder. Freely fitted piezoelectric material multilayer drive is secured on cover hermetically closing inner space of pump housing.
EFFECT: simplified design of high-pressure pump, improved reliability of its operation, facilitated and improved quality of engine control.
