FIELD: metallurgy; hot rolling of foil from chemically active metals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to putting in rotating shafts into vacuum chambers in which mechanical processes are carried out. Housing with shaft on bearings and vacuum seals is made up of at least two sections, each containing two sliding bearings in form of fluoroplastic bushings divided by ring space furnished with air pump out nipple. Invention provides long continuous operation of vacuum entry without loss of vacuum tightness at shaft speeds up to 600 rpm.
EFFECT: provision of stable operation of vacuum entry.
