FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for measuring aerodynamic characteristics of inertial navigation systems. Rigidity of suspension of integral platform-free inertial navigation system is calibrated. Signals of the system are used for determining dynamic characteristics of flying micro-vehicle and its engines. Free end of portable flexible suspension is disconnected from motionless base, the end is fastened to transportation vehicle, speed of linear motion of transportation vehicle is specified in environment and aerodynamic characteristics of flying micro-vehicle are determined depending on speed of linear motion.
EFFECT: widened functional capabilities.
