FIELD: pitch angles determination devices.

SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to a method and device for determining non-stationary roll and pitch angles. To determine the non-stationary roll and pitch angles of the object, two accelerometers are installed on it, one of which is a pendulum compensation accelerometer, readings of each of them are obtained, while a certain mathematical formula is used to determine the required angles, using the obtained readings and known parameters of the accelerometers. The device contains two of the above accelerometers, while the second accelerometer is attached to the base of the compensation pendulum accelerometer so that their sensitivity axes are parallel, and it measures only the variable component of acceleration, and its natural frequency is not less than twice the frequency range of vibrations of the object under study.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of determination of pitch and roll angles with the help of pendulum accelerometers in the presence of vibrations with high accuracy, including in non-inertial coordinate system.
