FIELD: methods of testing strength characteristics of materials.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used for inspecting parameters of rheologic media. Device has assembly containing body to be thrown. The body is mounted in removable tray with bottom. Device also has measuring unit disposed inside the body to be thrown. One wire of electric connection unit has one end connected with removable tray and the other end connected with measuring unit. Catcher of tray intends for connecting measuring unit to registering equipment through measuring channels of electric connection line. Removable tray is made for providing electric connection with mentioned catcher when they both collide. Tray is mounted in front of obstacle at distance providing close of tray to catcher before body to be thrown begins to penetrate into obstacle. Thrown body can be made with cavity which is open at the side of bottom cut of thrown body. Drive of electric connection unit is disposed inside mentioned cavity or inside removable tray. Assembly can also be provided with removable hollow adapter disposed between body to be thrown and bottom of removable tray. Wire is disposed inside cavity of adapter. Wire of electric connection unit can be made in form of compact spatial formation for transformation along the length without damage in electric conductivity. Device also can have throwing unit, for example, gun pneumatic powder one. Method concludes in throwing of assembly. Removable tray is dismounted from body to be thrown at catcher of the tray which is connected to registering equipment through measuring channels of electric connection. Motion of body to be thrown is provided to have no contact with material of tray's catcher when body to be thrown moves in hoe of catcher. Simultaneously the closing of removable tray is locked to mentioned tray's catcher and parameters of penetration of body to be thrown are registered. Parameters of penetration of body to be thrown against obstacle at high values of speed of throwing are measured due to provision of reliability of results when continuous registration of parameters of penetration are measured from the beginning of process till complete stop of the body to be thrown or either obstacle or body to be thrown are destroyed completely.
