FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of strength characteristics of materials, in which strikers equipped with measuring systems are used for quantitative evaluation of characteristics of rheological media. Striker is thrown, having a measuring unit which measures linear accelerations during movement of the striker in the obstacle in the time scale of the measuring unit. Determination of parameters of striker movement is carried out on a time scale of a measuring unit and a time scale of ground equipment, the beginning of counting in said scales is carried out from the moment of launching of the striker acceleration means. In process of striker movement by measuring unit dependence of linear acceleration AMUi is registered on time on time scale of measuring unit. Using ground equipment, speed values are determined ν0 and time at the moment of collision of striker with obstacle on time scale of ground equipment. After the striker stops in the obstacle, the value of the final penetration depth of the striker xf into the obstacle is measured. According to the measured dependence of linear acceleration on time on the time scale of the measuring unit, the moment of impact of the striker with the obstacle is determined. Knowing the distance l from the toe of the striker to the measuring unit and the speed of sound in the material of the striker c, determining the proportionality coefficient between the time scale of the measuring unit and the time scale of the ground equipment, calculating the time value t'i on the time scale of ground equipment corresponding to the time value on the time scale of the measuring unit with reference point from the moment of collision of the striker with the obstacle according to the formula . According to obtained dependence of linear acceleration AMUi on time t'i determining the striker stop time f'f in the obstacle as the moment of establishing the dependence of acceleration into a constant value within the error of converting the electrical signal received from the measuring unit in the digital value of acceleration recorded by the recorder, the corrected value of linear acceleration is calculated by the formula ai=(1/q)⋅AMUi–(w/q), where q is the multiplicative and w is the additive error components, wherein values 1/q and w/q are calculated using the formulas given in the description. In case of equality to zero of denominator in formula for calculation of 1/q, 1/q=1, and the dependence of the speed and depth of penetration of the striker on time is determined by, respectively, single- and double-time integration of values of corrected acceleration ai by time t'i at initial speed equal to ν0, and initial depth of penetration equal to zero.
EFFECT: improving accuracy of determining parameters of striker penetration into obstacle by 5–15%.
