SUBSTANCE: agent for extinguishing petroleum and petroleum products when spilled and in closed spaces contains extinguishing composition applied on granules of refractory porous material 10-59 mm in diameter and with thickness of working layer 1-5 mm. Extinguishing composition contains 0.2-0.8 wt parts calcium bicarbonate, 0.2-0.8 wt parts liquid glass, and 0.1-0.3 wt parts inhibiting additive.
EFFECT: achieved fire-extinguishing efficiency, reduced cost, and facilitated use.
