FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, equipment used in pulse-type power supply units, more particular, in domestic ozone generators.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has high-voltage pulse transformer and accumulating vessel connected in series, diode and switching member connected in parallel with pulse transformer and accumulating vessel in mutually opposite directions, additional accumulating vessel connected in series with said accumulating vessel, with one face plate of additional accumulating vessel functioning as terminal for connection to electric mains. Dynistor or thyristor used in dynistor mode functions as switching member. Secondary winding of high-voltage pulse transformer may be formed from sections isolated from one another and connected in series with one another. Stabilitron may be switched to thyristor used in dynistor mode.
EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced manufacturing costs, enhanced reliability in operation, increased efficiency of apparatus and increased energetic yield of ozone.
