FIELD: rocketry; a launching pod for a missile.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of rocketry, in particular, to a launching pod for a missile and may be used in small-size missile shots. The substance of the invention consists that for formation of the closed cavity between a nose part of a missile and the jettisonable cover there is a mounted there piston , which is made in the form of separate segments. The inside surface of the segments is made adjacent to the missile nose cone and has the bulges interacting with the pits in the missile nose cone unit. Realization of the invention allows to reduce the action of the shaking forces acting on the missile at its escaping of the launching pod.
EFFECT: the invention allows to reduce the action of the shaking forces acting on the missile at its escaping of the launching pod.
