METHOD FOR PLOTTING OF PATTERN FOR MAN'S TROUSERS Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: sewing industry, in particular, plotting of patterns for cutting of clothing parts.

SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring thigh coverage; plotting basis grid from horizontal and vertical folding lines of front and rear parts; calculating total width of pace from formula: W_p=(C_t+T_ct)-(G_b+T_gb); determining width of pace of trousers front part from formula: W_pp=0.4·W_p, and plotting resultant value to the right along subgluteal fold line from point of intersection thereof with vertical line determining middle line of trousers front part; determining width of pace of trousers rear part from mathematic expression W_prp=0.6-W_p, and plotting resultant value to the right along subgluteal fold line from point of intersection thereof with inclined line determining middle line of trousers rear part; calculating width of rear part along line of lower part from formula: W_rpc=W_rpc-Δ₁.

EFFECT: improved quality of fitting of trousers patters for figures with well developed muscular mass of thigh coverage.
