FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to therapy, and can be used for treating obesity, metabolic syndrome and other overweight disorders. It involves history taking and studying to find out a type of eating disorder and personal psychological constitutions of the patient. It is followed by a number of sessions of rational psychotherapy. The first session is hold by a psychotherapist together with a nutritionist who shall explain a heart of a problem to the patient. After the first session, patient's blood and saliva are sampled for blood group test, and secretory and non-secretory state. Bioimpedance values are recorded, and a 'health certificate' is filled. The patient is provided with dietary guidelines based on patient's blood group, secretory state and bioimpedance values and including a balance of animal, vegetable and milk proteins. At the second session conducted 2 days after the first session, the patient is psychologically oriented to weight reduction work and gets the dietary guidelines with listed specific allowed food with salt replaced by spices and seasonings, high-potassium food; neutral food to be given up for 1-3 months, and prohibited food. Then the nutritionist makes a one-month dietary pattern with one hunger day weekly with consumption of one of the mono-food product allowed specifically for the given patient optionally, while the psychotherapist considers personal constitutions of the patient to develop an active emotional-volitional motivation to new eating behaviour in which a critical moment is gradual unassisted reduction of the food consumption amount and hunger elimination. One month later, bioimpedance measurement is performed once again; the effect of new eating behaviour is analysed, and the therapeutic course is conducted once again to achieve the preset weight reduction.
EFFECT: method provides health improvement ensured by body weight reduction.
