FIELD: methods of armoring of charges.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of armoring of charges made out of ballistite solid rocket fuel and may be used at production of solid rocket propellant charges. The method includes a coiling of the fibrous cotton material wetted in a binder with the subsequent polymerization of the binder. The fibrous cotton material is previously impregnated with a 1...2 % solution of a curing catalyst in acetone, dried at the temperature of 1О...60°C within 0.5...10 hours, then it is used in the process of a spiral coiling on a charge and cured at the temperature of 15...60°C for 2...24 hours. In the capacity of the curing catalyst use manganese (III) of acetylacetonate. The invention ensures a significant reduction of duration of a production cycle of the armoring coating solidification.
