FIELD: linear-field motors for linear drives of overhead magnetic monorails.
SUBSTANCE: proposed motor has great number of linearly arranged supports, each incorporating slots transversal relative to longitudinal direction which are equally spaced apart, and at least three conductors of linear-field motor wound to form meander-shaped coils whose sections are placed in respective slots; end portions of windings are of length A. Length A' of end windings 16.1', 16.2', and 16.3' of at least three conductors of linear-field motor at interruption point, that is at point where distance between two adjacent supports of inductive coils is longer, is greater compared with length A of end windings 16.1, 16.2, and 16.3 in plane of end windings 16.1', 16.2', and 16.3'.
EFFECT: reduced cost and ability of continuous winding of coils.
