FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: labeling machine comprises at least one electrically heated glue roll with drive element to revolve about glue roll shaft. Said rive element forms at least one peripheral or glue applying surface embracing roll shaft and revolving symmetrically about said shaft to apply glue on label. Besides, it comprises heater with at least one induction coil to heat glue roll surface by currents induced in said roll. Also, it incorporates one temperature gage to register temperature on glue applying surface. Note here that at least one heater is arranged inside chamber made on glue applying surface or on its imaginary extension in direction toward glue roll shaft. Note also that at least one temperature gage is arranged on roll and protected against dirt and/or mechanical damage.

EFFECT: reduced heating time, proper protection against dirt and mechanical damage.
