FIELD: open optical communication systems for two-way information transfer among distant stations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed open optical communication system that makes it possible to transfer information among distant stations dispensing with electric wires and/or optical fibers, including among great number of stations involved in information exchange has two transceiving terminals of which at least one has minimum one photodetector and one emitter optically coupled with common optical transceiving antenna; first-terminal antenna is designed for generation of dissipation function for points disposed at output apertures of first-terminal emitters and their coverage in location area of second-terminal transceiving antenna aperture, and antenna-generated dissipation functions of points disposed within aperture of second-terminal antenna are covered with receiving apertures of first-terminal photodetector.
EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced quantity of light emitters and photodetectors operating into one antenna.
