FIELD: fiber-optical equipment, optical instruments. SUBSTANCE: acoustooptical fiber-optical commutator has emitting and receiving butts of optical fibers, collimating lens, anisotropic acoustooptical deflector and quarter-wavelength moderator placed between flat mirror reflecting collimating radiation backwards and anisotropic acoustooptical deflector. Emitting butts of optical fibers are positioned in focal plane of collimating lens. Flat mirror is dielectric mirror. For manufacture of fiber-optical matrix multimode optical fiber is heated, drawn to reduce diameter of core to size of core of single- mode fiber and to diminish diameter of quartz jacket of optical fiber, butts of sections of these fibers are gathered in the form of flat matrix and second end of each section of fiber is matched with single-mode fiber.
