FIELD: processes and equipment for rolling steel H-sections with parallel flanges having H-profile.

SUBSTANCE: method is realized in successively arranged rolling group including first universal stand, next stand for upsetting flanges and further second universal stand. Rolls of stands have rolling planes inclined or arranged vertically relative to axes of rolls. In first universal stand rolling planes of vertical rolls are mutually inclined by angle up to 10° and in second universal stand cylindrical vertical rolls are mounted. In such case lateral surfaces of horizontal rolls that restrict H-pass together with rolling planes of vertical rolls are inclined by angles up to 0.5° and in second universal stand rolled piece is reduced at reduction degree no more than 100% of reduction degree provided in first universal stand. In apparatus according to invention outer length of barrels of horizontal rolls of second universal stand corresponds to inner spacing between parallel flanges of rolled steel H-section.

EFFECT: lowered wear degree of horizontal rolls, possibility for equalizing wear degree in both universal stands and keeping it the same.
