FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to rolling of angle sections. Angle rolling mill stand comprises horizontal top and bottom grooved rolls (2) and (3), respectively. These rolls define the rolling plane perpendicular to rolling direction of material (6) and roll space with open or closed passes located in said plane. It comprises at least two out-of-level squeesing rolls (4, 5) to squeeze rolled material (6) on sides and to define rolling plane perpendicular to material (6) displacement direction. Note here that rolling plane defined by two grooved rolls (2, 3) and that defined by at least two squeesing rolls (4, 5) are not aligned. Rolling plane defined by two squeesing rolls (4, 5) is located in direction of displacing material (6) and/or ahead of rolling plane of grooved rolls (2, 3). Compact tandem rolling mill comprises at least one such stand. Production of angle sections involves application of said stands.
