FIELD: electrochemical deposition of metal coats, nickel coats in particular; making corrosion-resistant coats in radio and electronic industries; mechanical engineering; automobile industry.
SUBSTANCE: electrolyte contains the following components, g/l: hepta-hydrate nickelic sulfide, 280-400; hexa-hydrate nickel dichloride, 25-60; boric acid, 25-60; 1,4-butyn diol, 0.2-1.5; formaldehyde, 0.02-1.5; saccharine sodium salt, 0.25-2.0; sodium boron hydride, 0.1-2.0.
EFFECT: extended working range of pH; increased rate of deposition; increase of coat thickness to 0.5 mm; obtaining nonporous corrosion-resistant, heat-and wear-resistant coats.
