FIELD: electrodeposition, particularly, protective-decorative nickel plating ensuring high corrosion resistance of machines, apparatuses, instruments under heavy-duty service in various industries. SUBSTANCE: VIKTORIA electrolyte is designed for deposition of composite coating based on nickel and containing the following components, g/l: nickel chloride, 100-300; nickel sulfate, 3-10; boric acid, 5-35; lyosol-fluorine-containing polymer suspension, 0.5-10; chloramine B or saccharin, 0.3-4 and antipitting additive NIA-1, 0.2- 0.6. Electrolyte may additionally contain galpanol in amount of 0.1-0.5 g/l and also salt of anionic polyhedral borate. EFFECT: provided corrosion protection and decoration of produced coatings, coating deposition without mixing of electrolyte due to its kinetic stability. 2 tbl, 2 ex
