FIELD: apparatus adapted for breaking, disintegrating or loosening layers of ice or hard snow for cleaning roads, pavement and other surfaces.
SUBSTANCE: tool has cutting member put on shaft. Cutting tool comprises disc with hub and orifices uniformly distributed along disc edge, and a number of strikers. Each striker includes two rectangular plates with orifices formed at disc edges opposite to working ones. Disc edges are installed between the plates so that orifices are mutually superposed and disc edges are pivotally secured by pins. Striker plates are attached one to another at working edge with the third plate.
EFFECT: increased quality of surface cleaning of ice and compacted snow.
