FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manual devices both for destruction and removal of any ice formations and for removal of snow from pedestrian paths, bus stops and other surfaces. Device for destruction and removal of ice formations comprises a working member with a shearing tool in the form of a set of strikers. Every striker consists of two rectangular plates interconnected at the working end with the third plate, while opposite ends are hinged with axles to bases, which are rigidly connected to the shaft of the working member. Each striker is also equipped with an inclined face plate at the working end forming a hoe, and in the base rigidly attached to the drum surface there is a damper for the striker axle. Herewith on each side base of the drum there is a rigidly fixed sectorial disc with a gap to the cleaned surface. Cams are mounted on the shaft ends able to transmit vibration via rods to a wedge located behind the working member and having its front part in contact with the cleaned surface while its back part – with the inclined part of the frame base.

EFFECT: invention provides high-quality cleaning of surfaces from any ice formations and snow.
