SUBSTANCE: method involves forming nipple and coupling pipe ends having parts with taper corresponding to that of thread; forming inner conical threads on coupling pipe ends; creating outer threads on nipple pipe ends; cutting grooves on outer threaded surfaces of coupling ends and on inner threaded surfaces of nipple ends; forming annular extensions on ends of surfaces opposing threaded ones; covering the threads with mineral-and-polymeric cold-welding composition; connecting pipes one to another along with sealant application on threads; lowering the blocking device in previously expanded interval; performing radial expansion of profiled pipes, gauging profiled pipes and flaring cylindrical pipes.
EFFECT: increased reliability, workability and air-tightness.
