FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production string repair in the well, namely to methods of production string leakage elimination. Method of isolation of leakage interval of production string of well with expandable volley includes lowering into well on drill string of shutter into leakage interval, with sealant placed in recesses on its end sections, with its subsequent flaring and end sections until pressing to walls of production string. Expandable metal pipe of cylindrical shape in cross-section—"expandable fly" (EF) is selected as shutter, after lowering of which into leakage interval one of ends or both ends are anchored, note here that expandable multibeam shaped tube or its section is used as anchor and is secured by electric welding to EF. Sections of the EF are upset to form a depression, after which a sealant is applied on the cavities without going beyond the limits of the previous diameter of the EF.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of insulation works—durability, quality of repair works, reduced time for their performance, higher labor efficiency, lower metal consumption, lower labor input.
