FIELD: electrical engineering; electrical machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed single-phase commutatorless repulsion motor has stator carrying field winding, toroidal magnet, and rotor carrying armature winding assembled of electrically interconnected coils. Diametrically opposite points of connection of armature windings are closed through semiconductor power devices connected to magnetically sensitive components connected through rectifier to secondary winding of toroidal transformer and mounted opposite toroidal magnet with nonmagnetic areas disposed diametrically at 45 deg. with respect to geometric neutral of motor.
EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability.
