FIELD: electrical engineering; electrical machines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed commutatorless repulsion motor that incorporates stator 2 with single-phase winding 4 and brushes 12 in rotor 8 has jumpers of rotor squirrel-cage winding 9 made in the form of slip-rings 11 with spring-loaded brushes 12 abutting against them; these brushes are parts of closed conducting circuits attached to stator 2 between its poles; pair of brushes 12 in one conducting circuit encloses rotor 8 on opposite sides at location point of one of stator 2 poles and brushes 12 of next closed conducting circuit enclose rotor 8 on opposite sides at location point of opposing stator pole. Proposed motor characteristics are close to those of well-known repulsion motors having one stator winding and one set of brushes.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability and explosion safety, reduced maintenance charges.
