FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automobiles. Proposed dashboard glove compartment arranged on panel 1 contains case in form of concave section 2 on panel 1 and lid 3 in form of box. Case lid 3 is installed on axle 5 for turning and hinging down. Case is provided with lid turning stop consisting of fixed and movable parts. Movable part is connected with side wall 7 of lid 3 and is formed by projection 8 arranged out of case space and provided with elastic coating 9. Projection 8 is installed in fixed part of stop formed by curved slot 11 of wall adjacent to lid 3 of case. Curved slot 1 of fixed part of stop can be formed in wall of panel 1. Curve of slot 11 is made to suit trajectory of displacement of projection 8 when lid 3 is shifted from closed position into open position. Slot 11 is provided socket 12 for movable part in final position formed by section 13 projecting into space of slot 11 and engaging with elastic coating 9 of projection 8 when movable part is shifted into final position.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of use of capacity of glove compartment and reliability of operation.
