DASHBOARD GLOVE COMPARTMENT WITH LIGHT SWITCH Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: automotive engineering; automobile auxiliaries. SUBSTANCE: glove compartment 1 of dashboard 2 is made in form of box with lid 3 installed for movement on axle 4 coupled with dashboard. Box 1 has light switch made in form of magnetically sensitive switch 5 located in plane of trajectory of movement of permanent magnet 6 installed on end face step 7 of inner surface of lid 3. Switch 5 is installed in hole of wall 8 of body of box 1 through cylindrical body, wall 8 being pointed to inner surface of lid 3. magnet 6 is installed on step 7 of lid 3 also through cylindrical body, end face flanges of bodies being pointed to each other. At least one hinge 9 extending from lid 3 to axle 4 and secured on axle is installed in step 7. EFFECT: simplified design of dashboard, enhanced switching of glove compartment light. 4 cl, 1 dwg
