FIELD: low-voltage vacuum-tube data display means depending for their operation on cathode-ray fluorescence.
SUBSTANCE: proposed display designed for use as screen, digital and alphanumeric display, universal panel for displaying text, character, and graphical information, as well as for manufacturing counters, analog and digital-analog measuring instruments, calculators, clocks, and shared display panels has face plate and substrate; set of cathodes; rows of substrate-deposited anode electrodes covered with phosphor of at least one color and connected by means of current-carrying tracks to external leads through contact pads; stretching electrodes forming X-Y matrix of light-emitting segments; dielectric bezel tightly joining face plate with substrate; cathodes are made in the form of metal threads closed with carbon nanotubes. In addition, cathodes are made of tungsten; metal grid is disposed between anode electrodes and stretching ones; anode electrodes are made in the form of controlled matrix of anode electrodes.
EFFECT: improved quality of information displayed, reduced power requirement, enhanced service life of device.
