FIELD: electrical engineering; grounding electrodes for electrical installations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed grounding electrode is built of separate steel stakes covered with corrosion-resistant conducting zinc coating and threaded at their ends which enables their lengthwise connection through sleeves made of material permissible for electric contact with stake coating; prior to dipping grounding electrode in soil pointed tip is turned onto first stake and same tip is fitted onto each next stake through head sleeve.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, reduced resistance to current spreading, enlarged functional capabilities.
