FIELD: electronics.
SUBSTANCE: to produce effect of forming of practically sinusoidal shape of grid currents with adjustable power coefficient and to provide functionality of adjustable output voltages (output currents) semiconductor-based frequency transformer is made in form of two-element serial filter-less composition of two sets of keys (in generic case with symmetric two-side conductivity), providing immediate connection of load to power grid. Synchronization of key sets control is performed due to, at pulse-duration modulation period, predetermined series of realization of four combinations of non-zero forming vectors of input currents and output voltages of transformer and one zero state, which due to realized structure of force circuits can be realized by one of key sets.
EFFECT: two-side energy transfer between power grid and load, practically sinusoidal grid current and adjustable input power coefficient, in comparison to two-link frequency transformers circuits, speed of adjustment of output voltage (current) can be improved due to one-time transformation of energy and absence of filters in direct current link, and in comparison to circuit of direct frequency converter it is possible to decrease commutation voltages substantially.
