FIELD: medical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: device has cantilever attachment to Behler frame and comprises plates, 120-mm long threaded bars, brackets, bolts and nuts of Ilizarov apparatus set and rubber tourniquet. The plates are sized 30, 104, 236 and 346 mm. The 346 mm large plate is positioned at the level of anterior foot part. The rubber tourniquet is arranged as two equal loops on the 346 mm large plate for retaining foot in physiologically advantageous position.

EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in preventing lower extremity edema.
