FIELD: machine engineering, possibly operations for grinding blanks of adhesion - active materials.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of preventing greasing of working surface of grinding wheel during grinding process. It is realized by forcing bar to working surface of rotating grinding wheel after dressing it while using bar of monolithic material having hardness and heat stability lower than such parameters of abrasive material of grinding wheel and high adhesion activity in relation to abrasive material of grinding wheel. Nominal pressure in bar-to-wheel contact zone is in range 15000 - 20000 Pa.
EFFECT: lowered intensity of sticking blank material particles to grains of grinding wheel during grinding process, enhanced efficiency and quality of grinding, increased-duration strength period of grinding wheel, minimum values of cutting effort components.
