FIELD: space engineering; manufacture of transport spacecraft for topping-up space orbital stations with propellant components.
SUBSTANCE: proposed propellant module includes frame, body, oxidizer and fuel tanks with respective fittings, pipe lines and pressurization systems. Body is made in form of skeleton of thin-walled truncated cones fastened with perforated cylindrical inserts and mounted at spaced relation to each tank secured on frame together with perforated insert. Secured on taper ends of skeleton are fittings, pipe lines and pressurization system. Surface of tanks and skeleton are provided with heat-insulating coats.
EFFECT: simplified arrangement of propellant module; easy access for thermostatting the oxidizer and fuel tanks.
