METHOD FOR CIGARETTE PACKING IN FLEXIBLE PACKS AND CIGARETTE PACK OBTAINED BY ABOVE METHOD Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: packing equipment, particularly cigarette packages.

SUBSTANCE: method is used for cigarette packing in single wrapper having label-forming area partly surrounding corresponding cigarette group having parallelepiped shape to form front, rear, two side and lower pack walls, and the second area wrapping remainder cigarette group area to form upper pack surface. Method involves supplying the first and the second wrapper webs along the first packing machine part; overlapping thereof and connecting the first web to the second one along corresponding connection areas to create single web; cutting the web in transversal direction to obtain separate blanks, wherein each blank forms one cigarette pack; folding and wrapping cigarette group with corresponding blank to made flexible pack. Flexible pack made as a single wrap of wrapping material in accordance with above method is also disclosed.

EFFECT: possibility to use simplified packing machines, reduced paper wrapping material consumption.
