FIELD: stairways, ramps or like structures, particularly edge protection device therefore.
SUBSTANCE: protection means comprises step profile and foot profile to be installed on the stairway. The step profile is provided with step area and mounting elbow arranged on the step profile. Foot profile has base plate with retaining means formed on the plate. The step profile may be detachably installed on the foot profile by holder sliding along vertical extent thereof and by fixing means so that the step profile is protected from damage during disconnection. Base plate is provided with rib facing downwards.
EFFECT: improved stairway edge profile, possibility to use stairway edge profile with material of different hardness, reduced metering and adjustment costs.
