FIELD: electrical engineering; thermal and nuclear power stations.
SUBSTANCE: proposed turbogenerator has excitation unit and rotor insulation ground-fault detector both connected to rotor, as well as two closing switches connected in series between rotor leads, midpoint of these switches being connected through capacitor to ground; resistor may be connected in parallel with capacitor and diode, in series with each switch. In addition, breaking auxiliary contacts of switches may be connected in series with resistor, midpoint of these switches being connected through resistor to ground; connected to control inputs of switches are shapers whose inputs are connected to contacts.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
