FIELD: aeronautical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed aircraft wing has upper and lower surfaces, detachable tips, flaps and semi-cones at shear over trailing edge mounted on lower surface. Semi-cones are mounted on lower surface of root compartment of each flap. Size of each tip along wing span is 0.5-2.0 from tip chord; bending moment of modified wing does not exceed bending moment of starting wing.

EFFECT: increased flight range; saving of fuel.
