FIELD: packing means, particularly for cigarette packing.
SUBSTANCE: method for cigarette pack 1 with hinged lid production with the use of automatic machine 34 working in continuous mode by closing blank 8 around cigarette grouping 4, wherein the blank comprises rear wall, the first flaps connected to rear wall, the second and the third flaps connected with the first wall involves continuously supplying above blank 8 along determined path P1 so that longitudinal blank axis B is transversal to the path; folding the first flaps relative rear blank wall so that the second and the third flaps are engaged by fixed folding means 43 located along path P1.
EFFECT: increased simplicity, reduced machine size and structural complexity and, as a result, reduced cost of cigarette pack production.
